The activities of the main opposition party, the PDP is to see it seized power in 2019 elections, during a visit to the national chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has brought the town of Dutse, the state capital of Jigawa, got a good welcome from party supporters in the state under the leadership of former governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido.
The conference, which was held at the party headquarters in the town of Stone, was attended by some of the biggest party bigwigs inside and outside the state.
Some of the major party members who attended the meeting include, PDP chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, former governor of Kaduna State, Yero ( Dallatun Mondouqe), former FCT minister, Senator Bala Mohammed (Bauchi Kauran), former Kano state governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and many others.
Research has shown that the legions of supporters escorted Modu Sherif from the airport to the headquarters of the party amidst variety of slogans.
Already Modu Sheriff and other party bigwigs who attended the meeting said the legions of supporters that troop to attend the meeting is a sign of recovery profile party election in 2019.
